  • I do not accept insurance, and I’m considered Out-of-Network by insurance companies.

    However, I’m happy to provide you with a receipt of services (“superbill”) to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

    Heart Mind & Soul Counseling, LLC does NOT submit “superbills” on behalf of the client.

    All requests for reimbursement will be made by the client, and all reimbursements will be paid directly to the client/insured by the insurance company.

    I CANNOT guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company. 

    I suggest you contact your insurance provider to inquire about coverage and the possibility of reimbursement so there aren’t any financial surprises. 

  • Below are a few suggested questions to begin the dialogue with your insurance company if you decide to seek reimbursement.

    • Does my policy cover out-of-network mental health benefits?

    • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

    • What is my out-of-network coverage amount? 

    • What is my deductible?  Has my deductible been met?

    • How many mental health sessions does my insurance cover per year?

    • Are there any diagnoses omitted from my insurance plan?

    • How often do you reimburse?

  • You can either contact us through the contact form on the website or click any of the book or request an appointment buttons. The buttons will take you directly to the calendar to schedule online. You can also call or email if you have questions prior to setting up an appointment.

  • Yes! Sheila Tucker works with couples and adults. Iris works primarily with adults.

    For more information about couples work, go here. And if you’re partner doesn’t want to come, we have you covered with solo couples therapy.

  • The length of time in therapy varies among clients. During your first visit and after discussing your therapy goals, we’ll discuss how long the process may take. We’ll also check in each week to ensure we’re moving toward your goals.
