Online therapy is an alternative way for us to meet.
Instead of coming to my office, our sessions will happen through a secure video platform. All you need is an internet connection and a private place to chat.
Before our session, I will send you a link. A few minutes before the session, you will click on the link and follow the prompts. I will magically appear on your screen at our scheduled session time.
How can I get the most out of my online session?
Check to ensure you have a strong internet connection or an ethernet cable.
Check to ensure you have uploaded the most recent internet browser to your computer.
Adjust the lighting.
I recommend wearing headphones during our session. This will not only cut down on any background noise but may also minimize the risk of someone hearing both sides of our conversation.
Is this a secure connection?
Yes. I use a secure HIPAA-compliant video platform.
How do we deal with payment and paperwork?
I work through a secure client portal. Through this portal, you will be able to complete the paperwork online. Heart Mind & Soul Counseling will hold a credit card on file. Your credit card will be charged after our session.

During your intake phone call, we’ll discuss how to access the platform, payment, and how to get the most out of our sessions together. I’ll also answer any questions you may have.
Online therapy is only available for clients in the state of South Carolina at the time of our session.
