Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
You’ve tried just about everything, but nothing seems to work.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a form of trauma therapy that leverages the natural ways the brain processes information to bring about rapid healing. - often in 1-5 sessions.
ART uses bilateral eye stimulation (moving your eyes from side to side) along with a specific set of protocols to help you alter the way distressing memories are stored in the brain.
Unfortunately, we can’t make the facts of what happened go away. However, ART can help you relate to your experience by reducing the emotional and physical reactions associated with your memories.
In ART we say,
“Keep the facts, lose the pain. “
Although originally created to treat trauma, ART has been found to treat other issues as well.
Here are the most common issues I see in my office.
Anxiety
Depression
Grief & Loss
Phobias
OCD
Limiting Beliefs (not good enough, too much, fear of failure, feeling stuck, etc.)
PTSD | CPTSD
There’s a similarity to EMDR….
ART, like EMDR, uses eye movements as a form of treatment. And that’s where the similarities end.
ART and EMDR differ in several key areas.
Why choose ART?
Rapid Results: Experience significant relief in as little as one session (1-5 sessions on average).
Non-Invasive: ART is a non-invasive treatment that does not require medication.
Effective for a Range of Issues: ART is effective for PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, Grief/Loss and beyond.
No need to change therapists: ART is very adaptable and can be provided alongside the ongoing therapy you’re already receiving.
